Different Types Of Resistance Bands Exercises You Can Do At Home

Looking for some resistance bands exercises to do at home? Here are a few great ideas.

Finding the right types of exercises that you can do in the home without having to worry about spending too much money on expensive equipment, or that require too much space if you just don’t have that big of a house, is really important. That’s why resistance bands exercises are a life saver for so many different people. They allow you to get a full on resistance workout like you just can’t do anywhere else than the gym, without having to actually go.  It’s just a matter of choosing the right type of routine for you.

You’re going to find that there are a ton of different types of resistance bands exercises, as well as bands themselves that you can choose from, so that you’re able to workout in a way that’s most comfortable for you.  By exploring the different methods, you can be sure that you’re able to find the type of system that’s going to get the job done for you.  There are all different types of great resistance band workouts, and by exploring them you can be sure that you’re able to get fit:

1) Buying traditional resistance bands with a door anchor.

These are specially made bands that feature a really durable and strong resistance the more that you pull on them, so you actually get your workout by stretching the bands and then allowing them to relax, and then stretching them once more.  But you’re going to find that adding the door anchor is going to open up all sorts of different types of workouts for you.  With the door anchor you have an actual point from which you can pull your bands out from, ensuring different types of workouts:

- Working your chest is easy.

These types of bands complete with a door anchor make it easy for you to work your chest, as you’re going to be able to perform bench press style motions, as well as other types of motions that are all about working the pecs and ensuring that you’re able to get definition from your upper body.

- But working the legs is also just as easy.

You’ll find that the unique handles that good brands of resistance bands like Aylio feature are going to be perfect for gripping with the hands, but also gripping with your feet as well. This way, you can ensure that you’re able to get a handle on them any way that you could possibly need, even if you want to do some kicking exercises as well.  This way you’re getting a full on lower body workout that’s every bit as quality as the upper body moves that you can do.

2) But of course these bands can also be used in Pilates and Yoga.

You’re also going to find that the right types of bands can also be helpful in different types of activates like in Pilates or yoga.  There are a few poses in both in which you have to grab your legs and it can be difficult so the bands can help a lot while providing comfortable and challenging resistance, but you will also find that with the right types of routines like those in Pilates you can use them to build up your muscles as well.  This way, you’re literally working your muscles in different types of ways that are going to allow you to really stretch in a healthy way, as well as put on some muscle.

3) But there are also great workouts that you can do with just the bands.

If you’re looking for resistance bands exercises that only require the bands themselves, you still have plenty of options.  Two of the most common are going to include the arm pull, as well as the bicep curl.  You’re going to find that one of the most common is to actually just hold the band between your arms, usually a shorter type, and then pull it outward and extend your arms.  By doing this, you work both your arms and your chest, and it can actually be more beneficial than any other type of exercise.

You’re also going to find however that you can work your biceps and your legs at the same time by actually putting one end of the band under your foot as you stand up, and then pulling the handles towards you. This way, you can work your biceps.  Or through another type of resistance band workout you can even turn your arms around the other side, so that you’re more lifting and working your shoulders as well, for a completely different type of fitness.
